Louis Capet, the former king of France - Baritone

Guard, charged with transporting Louis to and from his cell - Tenor

Off-Stage SATB Chorus (1-2 on each part), representing Louis' inner thoughts and the collective voice of the French people

Flute, Clarinet, Timpani, Percussion (Snare Drum, Suspended Cymbal, Vibraphone, Whip), Violin, Viola, and Cello

January 25 and 26, 2025 by Tori Thomas (Conductor), Nathan Matthews (Louis Capet), Jonathan Shinn (Louis' Guard and Chorus Tenor), Isabelle Calkins (Chorus Soprano), Abi Eutsler (Chorus Alto), Thomas Santore (Chorus Bass), Abigail Brown (Flute), Kaleb Durfee (Clarinet), Ella Sailer (Timpani), Sean Lawlor (Percussion), Ethan Hamel (Violin), Alex Beauchamp (Viola), and Ryan Wombles (Cello) at the Lilly Hall Studio Blackbox Theatre, Butler University (Indianapolis, IN, USA).
